A short walk through the neighborhoods and cobblestone streets of the village is a journey back in time, to the beginning of stone, to the primeval creation where the chisels of the craftsmen echo in the alleys of the village.
The voice of Deligiannis (Prime Minister of Greece) is present in his stone mansion in the upper neighborhood where the church of Agios Ioannis is also located. Particularly impressive is the main street of Lagadia, which was once bustling with trade since Lagadia is located on the main road connecting Tripoli with Pyrgos.
The pride of the village is the church of the Supreme Archangels of 1808 with the monumental bell tower-clock (1910) that rises proudly among the stone buildings. Then there is the central square, huge plane trees embrace its magnificent view. Further up is the school (1864) which dominates above its stone steps, recalling the historic days when the first practical high school operated after the revolution of 1821.
