On a 4-hour journey, we will learn the history of the town.

Culture: In the centre of the city a refurbished factory called Fabrica is the new City Hall and unique museum.“Fabrica of Culture” is the central gateway to the history and cultural heritage of both Tsakonia and the wider region of Eastern Peloponnese, and it seeks to be a unique and important place for education and culture, as well as the documentation centre of Tsakonia.

Food experience: At a traditional tavern prepare classic Tsakonian – Greek recipes using the fresh and seasonal produce that’s a fixture of the region’s cuisine.

At the end of your lesson, enjoy your finished dishes accompanied by local wine and ouzo.

Architecture: All the town is a “preserved settlement” from the state so we can see old towers around our city tour and we can visit the Tsikaliotis tower.

Easter tour: During the Easter period we will participate in volunteer groups by making the famous balloons and throwing them into the sky of the city on the night of Easter
