Diving & Snorkelling in Greece

Greece has the longest coastline in Europe, and its clear, warm water is made for exploring: rocky reefs, sea caves, shipwrecks and even ancient cities that slipped beneath the sea. Whether you want to try scuba diving for the first time, dive as a certified diver, or simply snorkel with the family, we can add it to your trip.

How we help

  • The right place for your trip – we suggest where to dive or snorkel along your route, for beginners or experienced divers.
  • A licensed local dive centre – every dive is run by a certified local dive centre (PADI, SSI or CMAS). We check availability for your dates and pass on your level and wishes.
  • Everything around the dive – private transfer to the dive centre, a hotel nearby and the rest of your trip, all in one plan.

Who it is for

  • First-timers – a try-dive ("Discover Scuba") with an instructor, in shallow, calm water. No experience needed.
  • Certified divers – boat and shore dives on reefs, walls, caves and wrecks, according to your level.
  • Snorkelling – easy for families and non-divers: just a mask and fins over clear, shallow water.

Good to know

  • Since 2020, recreational diving is allowed along almost all of the Greek coast. Dives on underwater archaeological sites and on wrecks older than 50 years are possible with a guide from an authorised Greek dive centre.
  • Ancient objects under the sea are protected: never touch, move or take anything.
  • Certified divers: bring your certification card and logbook. Dive centres also ask you to fill in a short medical form.
  • Plan at least 24 hours between your last dive and your flight home.
  • The main season is from May to October, when the sea is warmest.
