Hydra, Poros & Aegina – One-Day Island Cruise from Athens

Three islands in one day: elegant, car-free Hydra, little Poros with its clock tower, and Aegina, home of the Temple of Aphaia. The classic Saronic Gulf day cruise leaves from the marinas of Athens in the morning and returns in the evening. We book your cruise and arrange a private transfer from your hotel to the marina and back, so your day starts and ends without stress.

Morning: Athens – Hydra
Private pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the marina (Flisvos or Palaio Faliro area, depending on the cruise operator). The boat sails around 8:00 and reaches Hydra late in the morning. About an hour and a half to walk the harbour, the stone mansions and the lanes of the island, where there are no cars – only donkeys and boats.

Midday: Poros
A shorter stop at Poros, about 45 minutes, after sailing through the narrow strait between the island and the Peloponnese. Climb up to the clock tower for the view over the town and the bay. Lunch is usually served on board between the islands.

Afternoon: Aegina – Athens
Almost two hours on Aegina: walk the harbour, taste the famous pistachios, swim, or join the optional excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost, booked on board). The boat returns to Athens in the early evening, around 19:30, where your driver waits to take you back to your hotel.
