About this Tour
Live the biggest carnival in Greece without driving or searching for a hotel. We take you from Athens to Patras for the final weekend of the Patras Carnival 2027: the Saturday night parade on 13 March and the Grand Parade with the burning of the Carnival King on Sunday 14 March. Hotels in Patras fill up months in advance, so we book your room early.
Day 1 – Saturday 13 March 2027: Athens – Patras, night parade
Your driver picks you up from your hotel, home or Athens airport. On the way along the Gulf of Corinth we can stop at the Corinth Canal. Check in at your hotel in Patras, rest, and join the evening celebrations and the Saturday night parade through the city centre.
Day 2 – Sunday 14 March 2027: Grand Parade and closing ceremony
A slow morning in town, then the Grand Parade: thousands of costumed dancers and giant satirical floats through the centre of Patras. In the evening the carnival ends at the port with the burning of the Carnival King and fireworks. Your driver collects you at an agreed point and takes you back to Athens the same night – or stay one more night and travel back on Clean Monday, 15 March.

Can we do it as a day trip from Athens?
