Explore Karpenisi & Evrytania
Karpenisi is the mountain town of Evrytania, in the green heart of Central Greece, below Mount Velouchi and its ski centre. How to get here from Athens
Amplas is just outside Karpenisi town. There is no train to Karpenisi and buses are slow, and from Athens it is roughly 3 h 30 by car – the easiest way is a private transfer straight to your hotel, perhaps with a stop at Delphi on the way.
