Explore Kastoria
Kastoria is built on a peninsula in Lake Orestiada, in the mountains of Western Macedonia. Its old quarters keep tall Ottoman-era mansions and dozens of small Byzantine churches, the lakeside path circles the peninsula among pelicans and swans, and the Dragon Cave lies on the edge of town.
