Explore Piraeus
Piraeus is the port of Athens and the gateway to the islands, with ferries leaving all day for the Saronic Gulf, the Cyclades and Crete. Around the harbour you will find the yacht marinas of Zea and Pasalimani, seafood tavernas at Mikrolimano, and the metro to central Athens in about 25 minutes.

Piraeus is about 45 km from Athens airport, around 50 minutes by car. With luggage and an early ferry, the easiest way is a private transfer from the airport straight to your hotel – and to the right gate at the port in the morning.
