The Athens Riviera runs along the Saronic Gulf from Glyfada to Vouliagmeni and on towards Sounio, with organised beaches, seaside cafés and the thermal lake of Vouliagmeni. Vouliagmeni is about 30 km from Athens airport, around 35 minutes by car. The easiest way is a private transfer from the airport straight to your hotel on the coast, avoiding the city centre.
