Electra Palace Athens – roof garden with Acropolis view

4 Days in Athens & the Athens Riviera: Acropolis, Islands & Sounio

Four days that combine the sights of Athens with the sea: two nights in the historic centre below the Acropolis, a day cruise to the Saronic islands, sunset at the Temple of Poseidon and two relaxed nights by the beach on the Athens Riviera.

Why a private driver?

  • Door to door – from Athens, the airport or the port straight to your hotel, with no bus changes.
  • Stops where you want – a coffee in a square, a photo stop, an extra site on the way.
  • Relax after dinner – no driving on mountain roads at night.
  • Flexible – change the plan on the day; we adapt.

Day 1: Arrival – central Athens

Private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Plaka or Makrygianni, about 40 minutes – Electra Palace Athens, Divani Palace Acropolis or Hera Hotel. Evening walk through Plaka and dinner with a view of the Acropolis.

Day 2: The Acropolis and the old town

Join our Athens City & Acropolis tour in the morning, then the Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Agora and the flea market of Monastiraki.

Day 3: Hydra, Poros & Aegina

A full day at sea on our Hydra, Poros & Aegina cruise, with transfers to and from the port. Back in the evening, then move to the coast – Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso or Amarilia Hotel in Vouliagmeni.

Day 4: The Riviera and Cape Sounio

Beach and lake of Vouliagmeni by day, then the coast road to Cape Sounio for sunset at the Temple of Poseidon – see our Cape Sounion tour. Stay an extra night by the sea, or continue to the Peloponnese.
