Castella Beach is at Alissos, about 2 hours 30 minutes by car from Athens and 25 minutes from Patras. Buses link Patras with Athens, but for door-to-door comfort – especially at carnival time – the easiest way is a private transfer from Athens or Athens airport straight to your hotel.
