Moreas Peak Lodge is a beautifully restored, century-old stone house perched at 1,365 metres in Magouliana, the highest village in the Peloponnese, beneath the ruins of the medieval Argyrokastro castle. The lodge is set over several levels, blending exposed stonework and reclaimed timber with a warm, contemporary interior, and looks out over the forested Arcadian mountains just under two hours from Athens.
Inside, a vaulted wood-beamed living area centres on a wood-burning fireplace, with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table for gathering after a day exploring the surrounding trails. A stone staircase climbs from the village lane to a private terrace with mountain views, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks under the stars. Please note the lodge operates seasonally from 1 December to 31 March, with check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00.
