About Methana

Methana is a small volcanic peninsula in the Saronic Gulf, joined to the Peloponnese by a narrow strip of land. Its harbour town is a stop on the Saronic ferry line between Piraeus, Aegina, Poros, Hydra and Spetses, and is known for its thermal springs and the walking path to the volcano crater above the village of Kameni Chora.
