About Agios Petros

Agios Petros is a mountain village of Kynouria on the eastern slopes of Mount Parnon, above the Astros coast. Stone mansions, an old carpet workshop and a plane-tree square with tavernas tell the story of a village that lived from the mountain and from trade.

When to go

The best months for walking are March to June and September to November, when the paths are green or golden and temperatures are mild. In July and August we start early in the morning to avoid the heat.
