The birthplace of the Olympic Games and a ride on one of the most scenic mountain railways in Europe, in three easy days on land.
Best for: Families, sports fans and anyone who wants ancient history together with green mountain scenery.
Day 1 – Corinth Canal & Kalavryta
Meet your driver at the airport or at Lavrio marina. A stop at the Corinth Canal, then up into the mountains of Achaia to Kalavryta. Night in Kalavryta.
Day 2 – Rack railway & Mega Spileo
The rack railway through the Vouraikos Gorge, a visit to the Mega Spileo monastery built into the cliff, then west to Ancient Olympia. Night in Olympia.
Day 3 – Ancient Olympia
The sanctuary of Zeus, the ancient stadium and the museum in the morning, then the drive back to Lavrio marina, Athens or the airport. A fourth night in Athens is easy to add.
Before or after your charter
Before: we meet you at Athens Airport and drop you at Lavrio marina in time to board. After: we pick you up at the marina and finish at the airport or your Athens hotel. Lavrio is about 30 minutes from Athens Airport.

Both work. After the charter we pick you up at the marina and finish at Athens Airport or your hotel in Athens.
Short on time?
Skip Kalavryta and do Ancient Olympia with one night there – Olympia is about 4 hours by road from Lavrio.
