Kastraki Vacations House is a two-storey traditional house built of stone and wood in the centre of Karkalou, a mountain village near Dimitsana on Mount Mainalon, right next to Thisoa Hotel. With 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, it welcomes up to 14 guests – ideal for families, groups of friends and hiking clubs who want a whole house to themselves.
The bedrooms are doubles and triples with stone walls and wooden details. Guests gather in the living room by the fireplace or cook together in the full kitchen, and enjoy the family hospitality of the owners. Explore Dimitsana and Stemnitsa
Dimitsana and Stemnitsa are stone villages above the green Lousios Gorge, with its cliff-side monasteries, the Open-Air Water Power Museum and the most famous section of the Menalon Trail. Both played a leading role in the Greek Revolution of 1821.
