Stone Tower Hotel above Limeni Bay
📍 Limeni, Areopoli, 230 62, Laconia, Greece
Limeni Village is a hotel of stone and wood built like a small Mani village: 16 towers holding the rooms and suites, on the hillside above the turquoise bay of Limeni, the old port of Areopoli. Almost every window looks out to the sea and the mountains of the Mani.
Rooms keep the simple Mani style, with stone or iron beds and marble or tiled floors: sea-view Deluxe Doubles of 25 m² for two, and Deluxe Suites (45 m²), Junior Suites and Maisonettes for up to four guests. There is a swimming pool by a stone tower, a terrace restaurant with views over the bay, breakfast every morning and space for events – and Limeni’s fish tavernas and swimming spots are just below.

Explore the Mani
The Mani is the wild middle peninsula of the Peloponnese: stone tower villages like Vathia, the Taygetos mountains rising straight from the sea, small harbours such as Limeni and Gerolimenas, the Diros caves and quiet pebble coves. Kardamyli and Stoupa sit on the greener Messinian side, Areopoli and Gytheio on the Laconian side.

Limeni Village is above Limeni bay near Areopoli, about 1 hour 50 minutes by car from Kalamata airport and about 4 hours from Athens. The closest airport is Kalamata (about 1 to 2 hours by car, depending on where you stay). There are few buses in the Mani, so the easiest way is a private transfer from Kalamata airport, Athens or the port – with stops on the way if you like.
