Explore the Mani
The Mani is the wild middle peninsula of the Peloponnese: stone tower villages like Vathia, the Taygetos mountains rising straight from the sea, small harbours such as Limeni and Gerolimenas, the Diros caves and quiet pebble coves. Kardamyli and Stoupa sit on the greener Messinian side, Areopoli and Gytheio on the Laconian side.

Nyfi is in the deep Mani, about 2 hours 30 minutes by car from Kalamata airport and about 4½ hours from Athens. The closest airport is Kalamata (about 1 to 2 hours by car, depending on where you stay). There are few buses in the Mani, so the easiest way is a private transfer from Kalamata airport, Athens or the port – with stops on the way if you like.
