More sea, but from the shore: Navarino Bay, the perfect curve of Voidokilia beach and the Venetian castle of Methoni in the green southwest of the Peloponnese.
Best for: Beach lovers and families who want a few slow days by the sea, with history close by.
Day 1 – To Pylos
From the airport or Lavrio marina to Messinia, about 4 hours by road. Evening walk around the harbour square of Pylos. Night in Pylos.
Day 2 – Voidokilia & the Palace of Nestor
The Palace of Nestor in the morning, then Voidokilia beach and the lagoon of Gialova for a swim. Night in Pylos.
Day 3 – Methoni
The sea castle of Methoni and a lazy afternoon on the beach. Night in Pylos or Methoni, then back to Lavrio, Athens or Kalamata Airport.
Before or after your charter
Before: we meet you at Athens Airport and drop you at Lavrio marina in time to board. After: we pick you up at the marina and finish at the airport or your Athens hotel. Lavrio is about 30 minutes from Athens Airport.
Four nights?
Add a day in Kalamata and the Polylimnio waterfalls, or the Mani coast.
Flying from Kalamata?
After the charter you can finish at Kalamata Airport instead of Athens – ask us about flights.
